Mobile Meals Info
March 17, 2009 - Be a part of the Mobile Meal-a-thon on Tuesday, March 17th by donating to the Mobile Meals program.

Mobile Meals, the Knox County Mayor's Office, and local media outlets are joining together to get meals into 115 area seniors' homes.

The Knoxville-Knox County Community Action Committee has a $120,000 shortfall in its Mobile Meals budget and the Meal-A-Thon was created to fight this shortfall.

With your help, the program will take 115 senior citizens off of the waiting list to placing them on the list for delivery of daily meals.

A $15 donation will feed one senior for a week. A $65 dollar donation will feed one senior for a month.

Call 1-866-926-MEAL (6325) to donate.
