Public Meeting on Downtown North Improvements

Streetscape Steering Committee Fifth & Broadway Task Force Broadway, Central, Emory Place Small Area Plan I-275/Central Corridor Study Downtown North I-275 Corridor Redevelopment & Urban Renewal Plan September 18, 2008 - Representatives from the City of Knoxville, the Metropolitan Planning Commission and Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation will discuss improvement plans regarding Downtown North during a Public Meeting on Tuesday, September 30 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room in the Knox County Health Department located at 140 Dameron Avenue. The meeting is designed to review and receive comments on the proposed North Central striping plan from Woodland Avenue to Baxter Avenue. There will also be an update on other program initiatives in the Downtown North Redevelopment Area.
