www.knoxlib.org
August 27, 2008 - Knox County Public Library's popular outdoor movie series starts its fifth season on Friday, September 5.

Knox County Public Library is pleased to announce the line up of its 2008 outdoor movie series. Based on a public vote, the movies range from children's to adventure films, with some classic blockbusters in between. All films are PG-13 or less, but parents are encouraged to read reviews to make sure the films are good for their families.

The Library's outdoor movie series begins its fifth season on Friday, September 5. This year, the first three movies will be shown on World's Fair Park (September 5, 12,19). Then audiences will head to Market Square for the October films (October 3, 10, and 17). The fun starts at 7:30 p.m. with pre-show entertainment. The movies kick off at dusk and will end before 10 p.m. (with the exception of our double feature finale). Admission is free and open to the public.

This year, Fido is invited to join in the fun. The movies shown on World's Fair Park are FIDO FRIENDLY! Dogs with good manners are welcome. Leashes are required.

This year's movie schedule is:

WORLD'S FAIR PARK

September 12: Jurassic Park, PG-13 1993
September 19: Sixteen Candles, PG, 1984
