Baseball / Softball Clinic Brochure [PDF]
August 22, 2008 - The City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department will host a free Youth Baseball and Softball Camp on Saturday, August 30, 2008 from 9 a.m. until noon in Caswell Park, 620 Winona St.

Children ages 6-12-years-old will have the opportunity to work on baseball and softball fundamentals as they are instructed by the University of Tennessee baseball and softball teams’ coaches and players.

“We’ve witnessed the positive impact of athletics on a child’s life time and time again,” said Sam Anderson, Senior Director of the City’s Operations and Efficiency Department. “We wanted to give a free camp so that children of all means would have the opportunity to participate. We applaud the University of Tennessee Athletics for getting on board with this effort.”

Registration forms may be turned in on the day of the clinic on August 30, 2008. For more information on this camp, please visit www.eteamz.com/cokathletics or call 215-1418.
