East Tennessee Healthcare Center Breaks Ground
Groundbreaking for East TN Healthcare CtrMay 7, 2008 - Mayor Haslam, Mayor Ragsdale, Mike Edwards, Dr. Kamilia Kozlowski, Dr. Tracy Dobbs, and Dr. Terry Douglass spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the East Tennessee Healthcare Center on Wednesday, May 7.

Knoxville Comprehensive Breast Center and Tennessee Cancer Specialists will anchor the new $35 million medical office development that will be located in the Dowell Springs Business Park.

East Tennessee Healthcare Center will be located on 12 acres and totaling 175,000 square feet and will be aimed at being a one-stop resource for comprehensive medical and clinical services.

Services will include diagnostic imaging, pathology, chemotherapy and radiation therapy, physical therapy, alternative medicine, medical spa services, weight loss, pharmacy, massage therapy, plastic surgery, acupuncture and dermatology.

Architect for the project is The Lewis Group and the contractor is Merit Construction.
