City Holds Site Development Workshop
Engineering Department
Site Development WorkshopApril 8, 2008 - The City of Knoxville Engineering Department held a Site Development Workshop at the Civic Coliseum on Tuesday.

124 development professionals attended the workshop and those who attended learned the best way to navigate the site development approval process of the city of Knoxville.

Additionally, the workshop provided an opportunity for the development community to meet and develop good working relationships with city permitting staff.

The workshop and lunch were free.

The City's goal is to encourage good sustainable development that enhances the surrounding community by educating those who work to get the development approved with permit requirements. This education process benefits all stakeholders who are concerned about development in the City of Knoxville.
