| Veterans Day Parade Nov. 9 |
 October
31, 2007 - American Legion Knoxville Post 2 presents the
82nd Veterans Day Parade on Friday, November 9 at 10:45 a.m. on
Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville. A moment of silence will be observed in Knoxville and all across America promptly at 11:00 a.m. in memory of our troops, defenders of our freedom. The parade will include flyovers, military vehicles, military personnel, community leaders, floats, marching bands, veterans, civic groups, ROTC, JROTC, and special recognition for the East TN Veterans Memorial and gold star mothers/wives.
