Community Development Division Annual Plan Public Meeting Announced
January 8, 2007 - The City of Knoxville's Community Development Division is currently developing its 2007 Annual Plan and is inviting community members to provide their ideas for what should be in it at a public meeting on Jan. 18.

The annual plan includes projects and activities the city will perform from July 2007 through June 2008 to address the housing, infrastructure, service and other community needs identified in the city's 2005-2009 Consolidated Plan.

The meeting will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 18, in the Community Room of the L.T. Ross Building at 2247 Western Avenue.

Citizens will be able to talk with community development staff members about the plan's community development, housing and homeless projects during the upcoming fiscal year.

If you have any questions, or would like further information about the meeting, please contact Mark Rigsby or Marcy Griffin at 865-215-2120 or they can also be reached by email at mrigsby@cityofknoxville.org or mgriffin@cityofknoxville.org respectively.
