Summer Fun at City's Rec Centers
City's Summer Playground Program
May 12, 2006 - Give your children something educational and fun to do this summer by signing them up for the City's Summer Playground Program.

The program is offered at 14 of the City's recreation centers for children ages 6 to 12 years old.

Cost is just $20 for city residents - $35 for non-residents - for the program, which runs from June 5 through July 28, with the exception of July 4.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Children are offered a variety of recreational activities, including swimming, canoeing and field trips to the Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center.

Participants are provided lunch each day at certain locations.
