Civil War Reenactment to be held at Fort Dickerson Park

Knoxville Civil War Round Table
November 8, 2005 - The City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Civil War Round Table will be hosting their annual Living History Weekend at Fort Dickerson Park located at 3000 Fort Dickerson Road just off Chapman Highway November 12-13, 2005.

The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, November 12, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, November 13, and includes battle reenactments, cannon firings, refreshments and other activities.

10:00 a.m. - Camps open to Public
11:00 a.m. - Ladies Tea
11:30 a.m. - Ladies Fashions by Sandra Augustus
12:00 p.m. - Civil War Arms by Gerald Augustus
12:30 p.m. - Medical & Surgical Demonstration by Ed Archer
1:00 p.m. - Artillery Demonstration (inside fort)
1:30 p.m. - History of Fort Dickerson (inside fort)
2:00 p.m. - Battle Of Fort Dickerson
3:00 p.m. - Pass In Review
3:30 p.m. - Civil War Medical Demonstration
4:30 p.m. - Camps close to public
