City of Knoxville to Host Basketball Official/Scorekeeper Workshop
Parks & Recreation
October 4, 2005 - A Basketball Officials Camp and Scorekeepers Workshop are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12 at Cumberland Estates Recreation Center, located on 4529 Silver Hill Drive.

The Scorekeepers Workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and will last approximately 2 hours. Participants will learn the necessary information needed and required to keep books in the basketball leagues.

Individuals who want to officiate basketball games in the City of Knoxville leagues' 2005-06 season are required to attend and complete the officials camp, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Participants will need to be prepared to referee scrimmage games.

All attendees will need to bring a copy of either a driver's license or school identification card and a copy of either Social Security card or birth certificate.
