Stan Musial State Tournament in Knoxville
Lindsey Nelson Stadium
Parks & Recreation Div.
July 29, 2005 - The City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation is hosting the A.A.B.C. Stan Musial State Tournament this weekend at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and Ridley/Helton Field, formerly known as Bill Meyer Stadium.

Games will be played at both locations Friday, July 29, 2005 through Sunday, July 31, 2005.

Many of the teams competing in the tournament consist of current college players and ex-Professional baseball players. Knoxville boasts more Stan Musial teams, ages 19 & up, than any other city in the southeast.

Stan Musial Tournament in KnoxvillePlay will begin at 9 a.m. each day.

Baseball fans are encouraged to come and enjoy a weekend of highly competitive ball. Tickets are $5 per person.
