May 13, 2005 - The Tennessee Theatre will
host its third Community Open House of 2005 on Sunday, May 22, from
1pm - 4pm. Close to 6,000 people have participated in these self-guided
tours since the Theatre's first Open House in January.

This free Open House provides Knoxvillians an opportunity to see the
magnificence of the $23.5 million renovation.
Information about the restoration will be posted throughout the Theatre
and select backstage areas. Theatre staff will be on hand to answer
questions as visitors enjoy their self-guided tour.
To authenticate the Tennessee Theatre experience, Bill Snyder will
entertain visitors at the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. The newly renovated
concession stand will also be open to serve visitors.
