KPD Summer Youth Academies Set for June
The Knoxville Police Department is proud to announce that two youth academies will be offered this summer. Both day camps are free of charge and offered to successful Knox County students. They seek to build leadership skills and positive relationships between students and officers. The Student Police Academy for current high school students will be conducted June 2-13. The Youth Academy for current middle school students will be conducted June 16-20.

New Police Explorer Class Starting Soon
The Knoxville Police Department is pleased to announce that we will be starting a new police explorer class soon. The Explorer Program provides a fantastic opportunity for young people, ages 14-20 years, to get involved with the police department and contribute to the community.
